Hey guys. I'm looking for mass gainer powder to incorporate into my diet. I'm really skinny and find it really hard to keep eating as much as I need to to gain weight. I've tried making homemade weight gainer shakes, but I thought I'd try something new. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

It depends a lot on if you're falling short in the protein department, or in carbs. BSN's Tru Mass 1200 is more carb oriented but it's delicious. Or just regular tru Mass is more protein. Everyone's going to tell you to not buy pre-made gainers cause homemade is cheaper blah blah blah, but it saves you time.

The only big advantage that commercial mass gainer powders have is convenience. If you have the time and resources to make your own, they'll almost always be better--they aren't subject to the same packaging and shelf stability requirements.
Almost universally, mass gainers are first and foremost a cheap carbohydrate source (maltodextrin or oats are popular) coupled with a smaller amount of (usually lower-quality) protein powder. Combining your own oats and protein (maybe with a little milk, fruit, peanut butter or what have you for extra deliciousness and calories) will yield better results more inexpensively.
If you do really want the convenience of a pre-made powder, the most interesting one I've seen recently is iForce's Mass Gainz, which keeps a fairly respectable carb : protein ratio while sourcing the carbs from oats and quinoa. Haven't tried it to personally vouch for it, but sounds good, at least.[Log] Prime Nutrition Stack: bbcom.me/1Acr9Pt

If you want to save money just eat some oats and a normal protein shake. Then when you need to poop, it should come out as diarrhea. Instead of putting it in the toliet just put it in a crock-pot and let it heat up then drink again. REPEAT. unlimited gains?

Beast Gargantua is a great weight gainer if you are not able to get enough calories in from regular food. Weight gainers should always be a secondary option to actual food if possible.

Mass Gainz is a quality weight gainer with all carbs coming from Quinoa and Oats; fat source is MCTs. Very high quality food replacement and really not all that expensive. I previously made a homemade weight gainer, but price wise it is not much more, and much more convenient for me as I can take it on the go.

I also highly recommend MASS GAINZ and it is hands down the best ingredients you will find in a gainer.
This is a review just how well it works and you don't have to drink it all the time you can do other things with it.
