    nutrition and school

hi everyone, I'm 17 and looking to bulk but obviously it's difficult to do this when i'm at school and I don't really have much of a choice of what to each for lunch and nothing to eat as a mid-morning/mid-afternoon snacks. also, when I am on holidays, we cannot really afford to keep buying the amount of food that a bulking diet requires. any advice?
    thanks

    Peanut butter.

Cheap, convenient, calorically dense, nutritious, helps hit fat/protein/fiber targets as well.

Make sure to get natty peanut butter though they still atm have trans fat in normal peanut butter. Oats are pretty convenient and get some good quality whole wheat bread no enriched anything. Good bread also has more protein than cheaper crappier bread. One of the most important things I have is a fabric food bag I carry around wherever I go it is pretty much attached to my hip regardless if I'm going to hang with friends or if I'm just going to work I always have a stock of food with me. It helps keep me on my diet when I know I don't have to settle for crap and can just grab from my food bag.

Protein powser because it is cheaper than food. Eggs definitely. Chicken. Costco or Samsclub is your friend. Honestly this is why I don't follow my macros so closely because my family can't afford it. Just to let you know your not alone. Many people are in the same situation.

If your going to do stuff like oats might as well opt for beans and legumes which are more nutrient dense and more satisfying.

Grind your oats down into a powder with a coffee grinder. Then add them to your protein shakes, this is a very affordable way to bulk.
