    calorie intake and curve around point of diminishing returns

    Hi there,
    been lurking these forums for some time now and taking in a lot of great info. Can someone point me towards an article or post that would elaborate on the point of diminishing returns with regards to lower calorie intake and any potential loss of metabolic rate.

    I'm 6'0, around 211 pounds right now, I calculate my tdee at around 2500, shooting for around 2000kcal intake daily but really trying to hit 750 daily deficit between exercise/activity and lower intake. any info would be much appreciated.
    March 1st - August 31st cut:

    March 1: 217 | March 8: 215.6 | March 15: 212.8 | March 22: 214.2 | March 29: 210.8 <--- down 6.2 lbs
    April 5: xxx | April 12: 211 | April 19: 209.4 | April 26: 209.2 <--- down 1.6 lbs
    May 3: 207.2 | May 10: 204.6 | May 17: 202.2 | May 22: 199.4 | May 31: 202.8 <--- down 6.4 lbs
    June 7: xxx | June 14: xxx | June 21: xxx | June 28: xxx

    ultimate goal: 180lbs, 10% bfat
