Frieza was a gigantic ******* who was scared of saiyans and took the easy way out by destroying planet vegeta. Cell gave his opponents a chance by giving them the option to fight him 1 on 1 instead of just blowing the planet up.

Frieza came back to earth thinking he was terminator with his dad and his homo hench men only to be sliced n diced by a teenager from the future.

Cell came back to earth, killed trunks and wrecked vegeta in a matter of minutes.

I seriously don't understand why people say the series should have ended after the battle with frieza.

the hyperbolic time chamber wasn't utilised until the android/cell saga. Otherwise the z warriors wouldn't have died in the future timeline had they known about it during the frieza saga.

He still would got wrecked by Gohan when cell came back and Gohan was at full strength.

Cell was clever, he took the second strongest Z Fighter out of the equation with that laser beam + smashed vegeta when he reacted angrily. Trunks and Gohan vs Cell it would have been over straight away, even gohan vs cell 1 on 1 cell would get wrecked but he would have survived longer compared to all 3 saiyans ganging up on him.
