Taken a double dose of Zzzquil since I've slept 3-4 hours a night for a few days in a row while dropping my caff intake and carbs down. Was literally falling asleep on bike yesterday. New Squat PR before these past few days... yet failed to do a few warm up sets deadlifting. Without reverse grip I did a 225x5 285x5 315x5 365x3 375x1 395x2 Failed 405x1 a few times. Five weeks ago pre-cutting I had a 405x3 easy twice a week.

I may have like 2 worthless pics. I have some stories, like how I didn't bang any bridesmaids but this dude that was a higher body fat powerlifter did. At least I beat him in the push up competition on the beach.....fml. But I feel like dumb right now. 7 nights on basically no sleep, gallons of booze and room service at 4am. Was humpback whale season, so that was pretty cool. You could see them jumping every where. Fished 1 day, caught 3 nice yellowtail. Brought one home, frozen fillets in my carry on bag.

What do you guys do for abs?
I've always done non-weighted, high rep ab workouts and my abs have also always sucked. Recently (a few months ago) I started doing weighted abs and going pretty heavy, always doing 8-12 rep sets and progressing very well and upping the weight each week. My abs have been getting a lot stronger and also much more defined since starting to go heavy on them.
I've heard horror stories, though, about people's abs getting too bulky and unaesthetic as a result of too much heavy, direct ab work. I know right when I get done with an ab workout, my abs seem overly bulky due to having a pump, but I'm pretty happy with them every other part of the day. Should I continue going heavy on abs and progressively increasing my weight on them and not worry about it, or is it truly possible for them to get too bulky? (srs)
