Bodybuilding doesn't go hand in hand with tattoos, technically speaking.

They will be a disadvantage if they're noticed...how much of a disadvantage, that's up to how it'll look on your skin and if it'll hinder detail.

Dorian/Wolf/Levrone, they all have/had tattoos on stage but it wasn't noticeable enough to be a significant disadvantage.

Get 20 inch guns and then start thinking about tats. IMO tats on a pair of 14 inch arms just look plan silly. Its the male equivalent of mutton dressed as lamb.

I have a sleeve that has a lot of color and would not suggest color--specifically red. The skin seemed to reject it a lot, and it will constantly need to be touched up. I would say think about black and grays with minimal color.

As far as bodybuilding, IMO, I haven't seen a top guy recently with a lot of work...so not sure how far you want to go, but thats what I would go by anyway.

You will probably get marked down for noticeable tattoos. If you are small and plan on getting huge, get your tattoos once you are huge. Lines that become stretch marks do not look good.

Definitely. Just make sure the tattoos run perpendicular to all the contours of the body as to not hide any muscle shape and the more skulls with snakes coursing through them the better.

But srsly there's not many out there. It can be distracting if the tan doesn't hide it.

An example of a 'not overboard' tattoo, which IMO, is about as far as it should go.

Doesn't really distract from anything in the BDB but in the MM, if he had lighter ink or didn't have any at all, the striations would be more apparent and it would unify his skin tone, giving him a cleaner color but it doesn't affect him that much.

No, No, No, No and NO! Tattoos and bodybuilding definitely don't go together. I don't care how impressive the physique, the tattoos always detract from the muscles.

16 year olds should not be getting visible tattoos. I'm sure you think you know what you're doing with your life but you don't and tattoos WILL affect the way people look at you.
