Religious leaders were the historical population planners. It wasn't any message from god that caused them to be anti-homosex.

It was because homosexuality is counter productive to growing a population.

Religion only exists because it was the only way to control people before set laws were made. Now that the Earth is overpopulated, wouldn't you say that homosexuals are just ahead of the times by NOT having more children to overpopulate the Earth?

Thinking that homosexuals are a drain on society is just as ludacris as believing there is a bearded man in the sky granting wishes.

lol people are so narrow sighted. Gay marriage may not specifically impact your life as it stands now, true, but you people fail to see its long term effects. Not only gay marriage but the entire feminization of society IS effecting the human race as a whole. If you think this won't have evolutionary effects in 1,000+ years, you're blind. Gender roles are disappearing in the form of "equality" (quotation marks used for a reason -_-). This is only the beginning. Right now its gay marriage and "equality", before you know it bisexuality will be the majority because its convenient and everyone does it. And the female sex will hold the power much like ants with men working to please a queen ant. People fail to realize that we as humans are ONLY here on this Earth right now, because of the way we evolved and the way humans live (including gender roles). Now people are trying to change that because they feel we should be accepting of everything, and thats bull****. Why do we have to live in a place where everything is accepted? It's OK to say NO to things. I'm sure some of you will read this and laugh and think I'm crazy, but the sad part is its people like you that are allowing this to happen and perpetuating this.

I never said they were a drain on society. They can be productive as individuals.

But the effect of a homosexual population will be negative inside a society.

Removing healthy individuals from the mating pool, spreading more diseases, and less long term family/relationship bonds all weaken a society.

As a group homosexuals bring much less to the table for future generations. Even though individually they could be just as productive or more productive than anyone else.
