Smile Early AM Workout Supplement Advice Needed

Hi everyone. So i am working out at 4 AM in the morning and currently take C4 as a pre-workout supp 15-20 minutes before i workout. Is it possible for me to take a protein shake before i take the preworkout supp, workout, and then take another protein shake after my workout? Well, i know it's possible but is it a good idea to do so? Also, I was thinking about taking Aminolytes during my workout too. Need some help with this one.

Nope, don't do it. The shake will completely blunt the energy you get from c4,and I wouldn't work out with a shake in my stomach anyway. Working out fasted is fine.

If you feel like you need some food, eat a banana after your c4.

Mojito + CGC does seem kinda tasty tho.... Aminolytes is a fine product but the only reason to spend the money on BCAAs / Intra products is if you are cutting and train fasted. But if not it's not worth the investment.

I'm doing the same thing right now (4am workouts). I'm currently using Neon Volt, and train fasted. When I'm done, I'll eat a solid breakfast or throw a shake down.

But like Poison said, if you feel the need to eat something, eat a banana or an apple.

I have been taking BFN Nutrition metabolic fuel. It is stimulant free, no come downs. It gives me that extra boost. Very tasty too!

    I wouldn't do it either and I don't.
I do am fasted workouts 4 days a week. I take my pre's and drink 1 scoop Purple Wraath and a additional scoop of BA in it and then have a shake after my workout. Fasted morning workouts are great all you want is some BCAA's during and your good to go...

it sure is! But I agree, most beneficial if you are training fasted. If not, you should be getting adequate BCAA from food / protein

I also workout fasted and start at 4:30am. The only thing I take before my workout is my PRE and BCAA's... Right now for BCAA's I have been using iFORCE Compete or Cellucor Alpha Amino......

I would just take the C4 and get some BCAAs (I like Alpha Amino as well) going intra-workout and then eat after you're done. Did this for a long time before switching back to evening sessions.

    ^^ This..
or invest in a BCAA product as well to stack with the c4 and follow your training with meal 1.

Early AM workouts here as well... My preferred pre-workout shake consists of ground up oats, protein powder and a starbucks via pack. Tastes damn good and and gets the job done.

However if you're taking a pwo like C4, I agree with the above. I'd either just stick with C4 or stack it a BCAA product.
