This will be my third consecutive season stepping on stage and I’m ready to take it to another level.
It is getting closer and closer so I thought I’d start a new thread and log the last bit of my journey to to the stage.
Im targeting 4 shows this year - 3 pro qualifiers - and really hoping to get that card in the books this year!
Tulsa Oklahoma NANBF - June 7th
Did this show last year and won the tall class, lost in the overall.
Bentonville Arkansas NANBF - June 21st
Again, did this show last year and won the tall class, lost in the overall.
St Louis Missouri NANBF - June 28th
Again, won tall class and lost in the overall to Zack Rousch last year.
Birmingham Alabama NGA - July 12th.
Leaving for Destin FL for a week and this happens to be on the way. Perfect stop for one last chance at that pro card.

Off-Season Highlights
I tried to stay relatively lean this off-season while training hard and trying to add a little mass to my frame.
I did a powerlift meet and had a blast.
Some highlights of my off-season were a 475 lb squat in pl meet and a 600 lb deadlift with wraps in gym.
Current Stats
Sitting 7 weeks and a few days out from my first show.
Weight is 183. Def thinking I put on a few pounds of muscle this off-season and during prep so far.
My physique at 183 looks much better/leaner than it did last year at this weight.
Training
6 Days a week
Power days on monday then rotating between push/pull/legs all rep ranges the rest of the week. Saturday's are off.
Nutrition
Training Days at this point are @ 200P 315C 52F
Non training day is @ 200P 150C 90F
Refeed day (Sundays) is @ 200p 45F 430C
Cardio
4 Days a week - 5 Intervals @ 100% intensity - Doing med ball slams 3 days and bike intervals another.

Really fixing to lay the hammer down to get these glutes and hammies in. Still have a lot of room to play with to create a deficit.

Sitting 4.5 weeks out from first show and 6.5 from first Pro-Qualifier.
Ready for that stage picked my song out today!
Hit 180.00 even this morning hoping to break into the 170's tmrw.
Pushing pretty aggressively these last few weeks to get this stubborn fat off glutes and I'll be ready.

Alright ... figured it was time for an update and some pictures.
Sitting right under 180.
178.4 was my low this week.
These pics are very depleted. Keto this week. So being flat is an understatement.
Quads are very blurred from leg workout bike HIIT intervals... and hair haha about time to shave.

Alright time for an update.
Pushing hard these last few weeks.
Really digging for this pro-qualifier in Bentonville in 12 days.
I competed at the NANBF Tulsa Natural this weekend and ended up taking the overall.
Had an absolute blast on stage.

12 Days to bring out the nasty for my 1st pro qualifier of the year. Really hoping to take that card at this show. Going to absoutely murder some HIIT these next 12 days to bring in glutes and hams just a tad bit more. Only spot I'm really not content with!

Awesome, thank you for sharing that info. Thinking about investing in a pair, can't believe how well they fit everyone that I've seen them on.
Hands down owning that stage...best color, best condition, most developed, best posing, best suit. Very detail oriented, much respect.

Thanks brother! Pushing hard hitting lows everyday this week so far.
Yes he was a super nice guy. Work on his posing and come in a little tighter and he would be TOUGH dude. Color was bad too.
Thanks man glutes and Hams and I'll be very confident going into this Pro-Qualifier. Def working my ass off (literally haha) this week before peak week next week.
