    beta alanine - just how beneficial is it?

    ive read the studies, reports, etc....but would like 1st hand reports from users here.

    I take:

    Vega Brand Preworkout supplement - PRE
    Creatine Mono - POST WO
    Betaine Anyhydrous - PRE AND POST
    BCAA - INTRA

    Is BA worth adding?

    Very if you are training at higher reps and shorter rest between sets. Pretty useless for power lifting though.

    Correct because it does aid in performance for your workouts, its a cheap supplement if you have some extra money it wont hurt to aid you.

    I started using BA everyday about 8 weeks ago and I do notice an increase in endurance and shorter rest time is needed between sets. For as cheap as it is I plan on contuining to use it for the near future

    I think it works great for endurance based training...I'm a big fan of it..especially cause you can get in bulk for fairly cheap

    i lift between the 6-12 rep range and rest about a minute or so between sets.

    would i benefit?

    I have been taking Anavite Powder for a few months now which contains a full daily does of BA with 2 scoops and I can definitely say I notice a difference in endurance when I'm pushing myself in the gym.

    Definitely, a good supplement. You will notice you a higher rep per set. The only thing kinda weird about BA is, it make your skin tingle. I notice it in my ears, hands and legs the most, LoL..it's perfectly normal for those effect to happen while using BA.

    I was just rewatching an arnold motivation vid....and he says you have to do whatever it takes. I dont think BA will help much, but it might make a 2-4% difference.
