alright brahs I have long wavy thick hair that reached high knot pony tail length. My hair tho looks frizzy and bad all the time even tho im on no shampoo time. also havent cut it since growing it out (almost a year) so this weekend imma get it trimmed up. def need some insight on some products/oils/whatever to get it looking smooth and straight. any suggestions?

adamsz, I'd recommend you keep growing it. You can always try rogaine to improve the thinning areas, though I can't vouch for how well it will work. It does look a bit messy at this point tbh, but don't lose hope brah.

your hair grows slow as fuu. have you tried using some of the stuff mentioned earlier on that helps it grow faster apparently? black castor oil or something

also get on a hair growth routine or something man. even a bit of hair from the front would make you look 200x better

I just feel bad for you because your hair looks like it grows half as fast as mine. Every stage will be longer for you before you get to paradise.

ya man that's how I feel, like it would all be a waste if I don't actually get it long first. Just feel unsure if it will even look halfway decent... In those pics I had used a volume shampoo which makes it look 10x better. If I don't use that shampoo and just wash with water it looks considerably thinner. Arggg getting older sucks.

Receding hairline is no problem at all. and keep on mind of you shave it short the hairline would just look more receding.
The only thing that might look of to me is the crown.

Harder to tell from the pics but it's curly as hell on top. Like none of my individual hairs on top just lay flat at all, they all loop. Not a traditional curl obviously but there are no straight hairs on top it's weird.

And it's not quite long enough to comb back... I'd love to do the samurai top knot thing but not long enough yet.

Thanks man. I've actually been using rogaine foam every day since I was 18, and I just turned 26. My dad is bald and there's balding on my mom's side of the family as well so I started early as soon as I noticed any receding. Kinda crazy because I've never really been able to confirm if it does anything or not, but I'm too scared to stop using it lol. Also that chit only works for the back bald spot, not receding hair line unfortunately.

It seriously does grow slow as fuk. Chit is annoying I thought it would be way longer by now...

I've heard 1 or 2 people recommend the black caster oil in here but I just don't really buy it... after reading a bunch of hair loss threads I've never seen that mentioned. If it was legit I feel like way more people would be talking about it.

And yeah the front is the worst looking part for sure. It's not filled in at all and is shorter than the rest so I think it looks kinda goofy. Fuarkkkk.

i honestly just discovered this a few days ago, my life will never be the same

for 4 months i went with a fugly mullet that would stick outwards like crazy from the back instead of going down,looked like sh*t

now it looks decent. actually its been 7 months now and i'm finally at that stage where i can look half decent without a hat. although now my friends keep making fun of me because apparently i look like some bollywood film guy
