Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

At ease soldier and welcome.
Hey there, LadyJ! Ahhh, that never ending pursuit of the slim waist. lol You can do it! Did you find a swimsuit last night?
ETA: Oh and great idea about reposting the "after" pics from the last thread. I figured there was no reason to have a start date a few days out. There's no time like the present to get started.

Starting this new transformation thread with a tailbone injury is not how I saw this going, but that's how things go sometimes. All lifting is out for at least a week. I want to rest my back as much as possible to let it heal. The quicker it heals; the better I'll be off in the long run. Right now, I can walk just fine, but any bending, squatting, or lifting my legs brings on a lot of pain. After a week, I'll see which exercises I can manage. Controlling my diet will be key to sticking to my goals.
Starting: 112ish lbs (I'll update tomorrow.)
Program: ICF 5x5
The Plan: Cut, cut, and cut some more. Sans injury, I would go for 105, but I need to be realistic now. I'll be satisfied if I'm in the 108-110 range.

I have absolutely no idea, I feel like it's worse this time. But I think that might be due to fat being burned differently this time so there is pockets of skin that was filled before and now it's not while other parts that usually been empty are fuller so there is a worse drag.
Will see how it turns out when I am finished cutting, hopefully getting rid of all the fat and staying that way through the summer will make a impact on it.My story going from obese to fit while battling daily chronic headaches:

Took photos this morning, will post when I'm back from work. Just started ICF 3x5 today, this is my first time doing this routine. I was pretty pumped to be doing new exercises, it's got me excited again :-)
Can't scroll up atm to look at starting pics, might get strange stares with Znik's half naked self covering 90% of my screen.

Ive eaten two meals out of 3 already and im only up to 1070 calories and I usually eat 1900 - 2000 on my cut. I might just eat less today if the trend continues.

Yoplait strawberry cheesecake and apple pie 100 Cal Greek yogurts. Decided to give these a try today. Should have stuck with my fayheaa 2/blueberry blended combo.
Both the new yoplait tasted like chit.
Bought a walmart store brand southwest spicy mustard. Food of the gods. 60 cals for 6 tsp made the lunch wraps into cash money. Nice ingredients list too. Mustard sugar bell pepper paprika turmeric. The most important aspect of weight training; whether for the athlete, bodybuilder, or average person is to better ones health and ability without injury. - Bill Pearl

Yes, mixed berry was a winner for sure. It is the only one I liked so far as well. The Dannon 80 cal greek ones have fared a bit better, I think most were OK, except key lime, it was weird. I usually get one to mix with a 7 oz F_A_G_E 2% just to give it a little sumtin-sumtin
EDIT: Just looked it up it was the cherry chocolate dannon greek light and fit I liked best.Last edited by EjnarKolinkar; 04-15-2014 at 09:36 PM.
