Definitely leaner, but not where I want to be. My body is really being stubborn this go around. Also bummed b/c I'm holding more water today. No forethought yesterday to today's weigh in so the Chipotle chicken bowl and sodium-filled chips are showing. Oh well!
This is the worst lighting ever, which is how I wanted it. Znik down-lighting looks much better.*LF Chat Crew

Ending pics. Chubby bunny forever. Lifting, walking, hiking are consistent; although, the lifting is not as progressive as it could be. The tailbone injury during the mud run put me on the bench for about 4 weeks. When I started working out again, I had to drop the weights significantly. Im only now getting back to the same levels as in April.
Tired of cutting crew for now. Ive got a lot of traveling and trekking planned in August and September. Tough Mudder is happening in that timeframe too, so Im going to stay at maintenance thru the next 12-weeks.

Too lazy to take proper pics :/ ...and I'm not looking all that great either lol (bloated, sleep deprived) so just going to post one I took 2 days ago. Not really revealing. Honestly, I don't think I changed too much. I might be a little bit leaner, but I've mostly just been eating maintenance. Starting a cut on Monday and keeping track in next thread .

everyones looking good props
Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

Ejnar - You are an inspiration my man. You just seem to have such incredible ability to manipulate your body to meet your goals. The difference between the start and end of thread, your pictures are night and day.
Cunfewzed - you are looking incredibly lean. The definition is awesome man.
Barb - looking great. Those guns. Those legs!!!! See what happens when you hike in every country in the world in a few months. Well at least it seems like you travel that much.
kureransu - Those abs at 202 lbs???? Life is not fair. I was a slob at 202 lbs. That's impressive.
MJ - All I can say is HOLY ****. Did you get bicep, tricep, shoulder implants. Seriously. Wow.
Znik - F.U. buddy for posting the same day I will and making me look like the Jester I am. Brb......off to do 8 hours of ab work to prepare for tomorrow's pictures.

Good job everyone
"The hardship of the exercises is intended less to strengthen the back than to toughen the mind. The Spartans say that any army may win while it still has it's legs under it; the real test comes when all strength has fled and the men must produce victory on will alone." (Pressfield,1998, p.78)

Thank you. I'm going to make sure I focus on my training the last 4 weeks and be at my "super vanity status" goal for Puerto Vallarta. I guess my grumbling has been mostly due to know long that even though I have maintained my deficit and hit macros I've been messing around a lot with the ice creams, cookies, gelato, bagels way may than last year. I'm a little surprised I have managed to really get lean in time. And I'm very happy that I'm not even in the 140's. I will most likely dip in the before the end of the summer but it won't be anywhere near as low as last year.
Thanks Ejnar, that means a lot. I do think I will end up running PHUL one more time. I really did enjoy it but this time I'm going to try and progress better on my squats and OHP for sure.
I'm still on ICF but I haven't been able to give it all I can due to life getting in the way. I work 2 jobs and it's gotten very busy for me. I do my all to get in the and work hard with my limited time.

You can do it, MrM.

A little throwback Thursday before the day is over. Everyone says I look like my mom. The pic on the left is my mom when she was 19 or 20. My hair is pretty similar to hers in the pic atm. I'm considerably older than she was in the pic. Am I my mom's mini-me? Lol
