I was scared to post this in the MISC forum. Those kids are mean.
Listened to heavy metal back in high school.
Listened to anything and everything in college because I was willing to experiment.
Listened to techno after college because .... well we won't go into that.
I've just been listening to Top 40 type stuff while driving for the last 10+ years because I haven't cared enough to commit to anything. I can't remember the last time I turned on a radio other than in the car.
I fire up Pandora and just listen to techno to try to get pumped when I'm working out. It's ok, but it really isn't eliciting the strong emotional response you want from workout music.
What sort of stuff do you listen to when you lift? I need some ideas on what to search in Pandora.

I like to mix it up and have 4 main playlists depending on how I feel.
One is a AC/DC and Black Sabbath mix,
the other is a Girlschool, Plasmatics, Metallica, NIN and Tool mix.
Then I have a Joan Jett, Heart, Runaways, and Pat Benatar one.
Then I made one from the stuff that downloaded directly from my kids iphone to mine. It's got Eminem, Kanye West, Fort Minor and Macklemore.
There are no iPod big enough for all the music I like** Marie **

I only listen to Jerry Garcia Band or GD (live recordings, never studio versions) ever, for training OR anything else. When I forget to charge my Bose wireless headphones and have to listen to gym music I want to kill myself.
But I also puff before training, so I might be open to other improvisational jam music, I dunno. Im actually liking Widespread Panic a lot these days.Sheriff John Brown always hated me
