just curious.. does this actually help you at all when lifting? I've never used it, but if it works..

I've never used it for lifting so someone else will have to answer that

I was just curious what it smelled like because lots of people were using it at my boyfriend's meet...it messed me up pretty good though lol so I'll probably just stick to tea and sugar

The best way to describe it is like getting punched in the face. It may not make you stronger or better, but it really pisses you off, and get you fired up. Personally, it's a little too much for me, especially when it's new, but it's okay once the strength wears down a little bit. Personally, I would prefer ammonia capsules if they were not so much more expensive.

I've never tried nose tork or ammonia, but based on ^^^ description, since I'm more of a calm lifter, it sounds like it would be too distracting.

Imo it's way to strong when it's brand new off the shelf. Took a hit on Sunday Max Bench Day and it nearly knocked me out lol. Couldn't see the bar from the water in my eyes, does fire you up though and clear the head.

I ****ing hate Nose Tork. The **** is so concentrated that it completely defeats the purpose. I love ammonia caps, but NT is too much, too quickly, and it becomes a distraction for me. I'd estimate that 1 sniff of NT is like cracking 3-4 regular caps.

These are the caps I use, 100/$27 so $0.27 each is pretty damn cheap:

I did this to one of the young guys at my gym. He had a similar reaction to the one above

I crack one first thing in the morning sometimes

I had some buddies over for a UFC fight last year. I fell asleep on the couch in between fights. They took my NT out and jammed it under my nose. Never gotten off the couch so fast in my entire life

just this saturday at my meet I was just standing there minding my own business and cakes89 put that shiit right in my face and my reaction was about identical to OPs it was brutal lol

my first thought was I don't know how this would help me lift more...

I think I would only get angry at the nose tork instead of getting fuel for my lift. For example, if someone slaps me to psych me up I feel more like turning around and slapping that person back than to do a lift lol

let a guy at the gym try it once he freak's out and developed one hell of a nose bleed,no video you will just have to take my word,it was funny...id make a vid but i can pour amonia on a rag and all but stick it up my nose without a reaction,years of cleaning horse stalls as a teenager kinda gets you used to strong amonia...

I've taken nose tork a few times...the first time i shoved my nose in it like a tard and it hindered my lift...

Now i start breathing with it away and move it under my nose...just enough to clear my head and help my focus...i find that to be much more effective...
