Usually with water but I use milk sometimes too depends on the day and if I feel I need more "stuff" in my daily intake that day because I won't be able to eat or take something or whatever (you get the idea right? ) .
Taste wise I don't mind either but milk def makes it better bc it's more of a shake than a drink of course .

Unsweetened vanilla almond milk. 30 calories never tasted so good.
Of course, if you use Ultra Peptide protein powder, water works just fine. Other proteins, your mileage may vary. It's hard to win an argument with a smart person. It's damn near impossible to win an argument with a stupid person. - Bill Murray

Water because i dont want the extra unneeded cals. If you don't like the taste of it with water, opt for one that has a higher taste rating such as Phase8.
Contrary to popular belief, I dont actually bench 900lbs, as stated in my username.

Nutritional ketosis requires explicit reduction of CHO intake to generally lower than 50 g/d and, for some, <30 g/d. Protein must also be restricted, often to <1.8 g/d per kg body mass and sometimes to < 1.2 g/d per kg, with remaining calories composed from fat.

Water all the time. Very macro friendly
Usually I need to take a shake on the go because I go to class after the gym so milk really isn't an option anyways for me. Although, when I do have the opportunity to mix with milk I still opt for water.Controlled Labs PROmore Review: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=173734971&p=1488086951&posted=1#post1488086951
