anyone have a glock 30sf. Considering getting one for conceal purposes. How is the accuracy?

I had one, but it had malfunction problems (failure to feed and failure to return to battery, when using JHP). I sent it back to Glock, got it back, had the same problem. So I shipped it to them again and requested a 21SF instead, which has been flawless.

The 30SF is a known 'problem child' model, especially with FTRTB (failure to return to battery). I knew that going in, but was convinced by the apologists that it was an "overblown internet thing". I learned my lesson there.

My next Glock will probably be a G30 Gen4 though.

Accuracy will be just fine. More than accurate enough for a combat/defensive pistol, on par with other duty style pistols.

short barrel to regular barrel has different accuracy. i've never shot a compact gun, thus the question about the accuracy... how do the two compare?

I've got a 36(single stack 45) and I really like it. I've had it since I was ~18 and it's been a great gun.

ive got a full size glock 30. that pistol has been flawless, i dont think it has ever malfunctioned in any way. very controllable too. for some reason, it feels like it has less recoil than a g21

Reloading brahs, went to LGS today and picked up some powder since I have none as of yet. Got some IMR SR 4756 and Hodgdon Benchmark. He told me they get Varget pretty regularly so I'll be going back. Did I dun goof? Or good starting point

No personal experience with benchmark so I cannot comment. I have read that some people swear by it but I havent seen it perform IRL. 4756 is what I use for my light 9mm loads and I give it 2 thumbs up. Not sure how it will do with a 45. One way to find out
