Active Shooter Exercise on SheppardAFB turns to confusion after officials receive a 911 call from outside of controlled area.
Exercise was ended early, sounds like false alarm.

If you want stupid-simple
Chicken breast
Can of chicken broth
Packet of italian dressing powder (cheap, comes in packs of like 3)
Slow cooking doesn't get easier than that, and the chicken doesn't get dried out. If you do it right, the chicken will fall apart so badly you won't be able to get it out with a single fork, because it will disintegrate. (calls for 8 hours low or 6 hours high)
IMPORTANT: Slow cookers have changed vs the not-so-old days. Their temperature settings are generally higher than they were even just 5-10 years ago (or whatever). Make sure you don't over-cook. A slow cooker on low shouldn't be boiling. Some people get success by using the "keep warm" as low, and the "low" as high. Or shorten the cook times.
Don't want to ruin that delicious dead animal flesh, ya know?

Cilantro Lime Chicken
The measurements don't have to be precise which is why this is amazing to me.
Ingredients
1 Jar Salsa (Homemade or bought)
1 packet - Taco Seasoning
1/2-1 cup - chopped Cilantro
1-2 Limes juiced
Chicken Breasts
Add taco seasoning, Cilantro, Lime Juice to Salsa and mix well. Place a little bit of salsa mixture in the bottom of the crockpot. Put desired amount of chicken breasts in then cover with remaining salsa mixture. Cook high for 3-4 hours, low for 6 hours. When ready to eat, use tongs or forks to shred the chicken in the salsa mixture and leav in crock pot.
great for tacos, or just a "mexican" style shredded chickenMFC

They are all over the map . . . you really have to experiment with what you get and play around with them. Our old crock pot crapped out after 15 years or so and we bought a different model. High on the new one was like Low on the old one. And Low was basically a really low-end "warm". Was too hard to cook with so we bought another that has a more respectable High/Low/Warm--but still different from other ones I have used.
But it's hard to beat a slow cooker for ease of use and volume.*MFC Elder Statesmen Cabinet Crew*

Those slow cooker sauce packs they sell at the store are pretty legit. Hawaiin Luau for pork and the korean BBQ for beef.
