Sweet brother, reps to new follower
I've been working real hard to do nothing but lounge around and eat as bad as possible since Valentine's Day...it wasn't easy, as I expected it would be, but I'm finally about 250-255 and 15-16% body fat prepped to make a dramatic change!!
A plain jane diet... I know.. just the way I like it! It will make meal prep and Grocery shopping very simple.
I will also be substituting chicken/salmon instead of tuna several times per week, as well as mixed veggies, peppers, salad, asparagus, onions/mushrooms occasionally substituted for the spinach at dinner.
I just bought a food scale that weighs up to 5kg, in gram increments so I can do this diet RIGHT!
Gettin everything prepped.. gonna hit up costco to pick up 16lbs of chicken, 16lbs of tuna, and 10lbs of salmon, and 24 packs of tortillas, and some cheese to last the duration of the diet. I'll buy all my veggie needs on a week to week basis so they don't go bad.
I already have all the protein powder required... I think about $350 (probably less) will cover this diet exclusively for the entire 8wk duration... that's a HUGE savings over my normal $200/wk grocery splurge

Good to have you guys following. The low carb is definitely going to be tough the first week... but it gets easier afterward. I'm gettin fat as hell (for me) before I begin this diet. I'm not really interested in bodybuilding - I've always beem more towards powerlifting, but I would consider doing a physique competition. I'll have to speak with some of my fellow reps at IronMagLabs.. most of them compete in either bodybuilding, physique, or figure.
That diet above is not anything set in stone... it's just a VERY basic guideline.
Here's general weekly grocery list for the diet ahead.
Daily Chef Extra Virgin Olive Oil 3L – 1x $17
Hawaiian Select Ahi Tuna Steak 2lbs – 2x $30
Daily Chef Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast with Rib Meat 6 lbs – 1x $11
Daily Chef Premium Chunk Chicken Breast In Water 5 cans – 1x $10
Sauder's Loose White Eggs 7.5 doz – 1x $11
Santa Fe Co Whole Grain Tortilla Wraps 20ct – 2x $10
Daily Chef Steamable Broccoli 1 lb. bags - 4x $6
Daily Chef Steamable Whole Green Beans 12 oz. bags – 6x $6
Taylor Farms Organic® Baby Spinach 16 oz. – 3x $15
Asparagus 1lb – 3x $15
Kirkland Tuna 4lbs - 2x $30
Helmann's Mayo w Olive Oil - 1x $4
Sabra Hummus Singles Pack 16 cups - 1x $6
Wholly Guacamole Single Pack 16 cups - 1x $7
Total: $178
I also have 15lbs of IronMagLabs Complete Protein, 15lbs of IronMagLabs Whey Protein Isolate, and 5lbs of MuscleTech Platinum 100% Whey

Ohh yeah... great pay and great retirement. I will as soon as I begin lifting again... I haven't been lifting in a while, not consistently at least in the last year.
Oh don't doubt the effectiveness of IronMagLabs - I wouldn't represent them if their products didn't work. I will say, however... I'm not allowed to list everything I'll be using on the open forum if you can understand that hint. You may PM me for the details, but please don't discuss it in the log, I don't want it to be closed.

Some people don't read the entire. Thread. lol It's not abandoned.. just postponed until a later date as Meadey stated. I have a lot of homework, studying and tests every week. If I get anything less than a perfect score on these tests, the training is over, I lose my job and am sent home. So I kinda had to re-set priorities temporarily.
