Other universes that we are just unable to detect or observe? Higher dimensional universes? I read somewhere that little universes are popping in and out of existence all the time. Some people believe that there are infinite universes. Some people believe that our universe exists compacted inside a black hole and gravitional forces keeps us trapped there.

Your mum OP. Then the big bang occurred.
"Have faith in the Lord Fifth, gain eternal life! When the Lord Fifth appears, who dares to cause strife!"
"Heyyy. Hi there! Hello! Im Lord Third. Let me tell you something, do you know how high I can count? I can count to three"
Little Haowie, dont you worry, it said, eyes shining brightly. My dream is that, upon entering the Black Lands, there will be people there shouting the name of Lord Fifth. Then, my two great armies will join together to become like my wings!

Lol you're the type of guy who watches Makio Kaku videos on youtube and think they're some sort of physics wizard. Why don't you do your own research and give your own opinion you little bi tch, instead of quoting some physics enthusiast who oversimplifies probably the most complicated question in existence.
And that little quote didn't really answer much. You just proved my point. There is no such thing as "nothing". Positive and negative energy is still something, even if they add up to produce 0.

All possible, but you also had a classic human-centric experience by assuming because you can't fathom or understand something does not mean others can't/don't. If genuinely interested, a good read for the non scientist:

lol ya this is the question that science it trying to figure out and religion says just happened. Even if there is a god who created us it doesn't explain who created him. With everything we solve it just reveals more layers. Gets deeper and deeper making it impossible to truly figure it all out.

I thought this is pretty interesting for people who ask " who created God then"
I believe in God etc, but dont care what other people believe, if you dont thats fine.
inb4 people rage and bash on me for posting a link.

and this maybe

Conclusion:
God has no need to have been created, since He exists either outside time (where cause and effect do not operate) or within multiple dimensions of time (such that there is no beginning of God's plane of time). Hence God is eternal, having never been created. Although it is possible that the universe itself is eternal, eliminating the need for its creation, observational evidence contradicts this hypothesis, since the universe began to exist a finite ~13.8 billion years ago. The only possible escape for the atheist is the invention of a kind of super universe, which can never be confirmed experimentally (hence it is metaphysical in nature, and not scientific)."When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you'll be successful"

Energy cannot be created or destroyed so it has always been here... just, maybe not in the form we now see/know it.
I think it compacts down into something so small, for a split second it does disappear and that is what causes the next big bang. Thing is the energy only "disappears" from this dimension or whatever, it can't be contained in the other dimension so it explodes and flips back into 3D again.u wot m1.68179283050742908606225095246644152⁴

the problem is you can always ask "and what caused that"
so, if you say that the universe came to be as a result of the big bang, then what caused the big bang?
then, some believe that there are multiverses, and when the multiverses contact one another, it causes a big bang
well, what caused the multiverses
and so on, and so forth
the only logical conclusion is that it is infinite. everything that exists has existed forever, and will exist forever, it just changes form. all the cells in your body were once part of stars, and will one day return to that form when our Sun engulfs the earth.***SRT PR Crew (Strong Rep to Post Ratio Crew)***
