taking pre workout with other supplements?

okay so im not sure how much truth is in this but I was told taking other supplements such as protein powder with my pre workout would slow down how my body would absorb it?
    does this sound right?
im new to the whole supplement thing so thought I'd ask

skip the whey with the pre-workout the preworkout works better on empty stomach IMO. Instead eat a preworkout meal 60-120minutes before your workout. If you want you can add BCAA to your PRE/Intra drink instead.

This. I eat about an hour before and either take my pre-workout while warming up or on the way to the gym. And no that doesn't effect absorption.

Taking the pre-workout on a filled stomach of any kind will slow how fast you feel it, sure, but it's not going to adversely affect the effects of the product other than that. I'd prioritize eating over supplementation if you're gonna be hungry otherwise.

Exactly as said above..PWO will work best on an empty stomach, but for me a solid food meal about an hour or so before training always works best. If your in a pinch or eating a meal is not convenient then a shake with some oats or something is fine but still try to do it at least 60 min before so you can still get the benefits of the PWO.

    This...
If you take a pre-workout in a fasted state upon waking = Optimal way to feel the stim
if you train witha meal in you try to dose away from food as much as possible.
