Yes personality is important but if the guy has a bad face and a good personality it won't really matter. People as a whole(not just women) automically make allowances for the good looking ones and excuse their faults more and thus their personality automatically gets some points. For example if an ugly guy is quiet and doesn't talk much: "Creepy!" but if he's good looking it becomes "Mysterious." That's only natural though but my point is that our perception of someone's personality can be affected by their looks. Same goes for ugly/pretty women.

This...my mum says shes changed my dad over the last 30 years so much he is basically a different person. He use to have that "old wog" personality and old-school 1950s mentality towards women but now after years of conditioning he is completely different.
