Ive been cutting for 1 month now. I notice that over the last year or so I have had a significant loss in vascularity and pump. At first I thought this was a body fat issue. I cut down to 9% and still not much vascularity. Then I thought maybe its a carb issue, I refeed 2-3 times a week on 600+ g carbs. The strangest part is, the last long cut I did ( 9% bf) I would consume NO carbs ever. I was significantly more vascular all of the time. This could be do to a couple of reasons in my opinon. First would be pre workouts/ fat burners. I used to take these all of the time. Especially Oxy elite pro. I would have a pump all damn day. Maybe its just because of stimulants. The only other thing that I can think of is my training is different. Its far more optimal than its ever been but Im still missing my damn pump. I dont do super high volume like I used to since i'd never progress like that. I have gotten way stronger over the past year but still cant get a damn pump. Feelsbadman.jpg Maybe I can try sitting in a sauna to drop some water.
The only thing now that is giving me vascularity are tri and quad drop sets.
Anyone have any suggestions on how to get my pump back/ veins back?

The only thing that comes to mind that also might be affecting your appearance in the way your describing would be that possibly your sodium levels are higher than before making you hold more water. The caffeine was a diuretic also.
Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

There are a pile of external factors that affect vascularity, many of which are independent of your macro intake/workout. Skin tightness and lighting are fairly critical, but those are fairly obvious. Do a little research and you'll learn a lot.
