ok so we had this bet about the knicks.. i lost and he said that i had to donate 20 dollars to st judes as per the bet.. i pay 15 dollars of it today because my grandma is in the hospital with a cancer scare so i need to help wit bills(broke college student as it is) n i said when i have the funds i will be happy to donate more. so he keeps spamming the thread in other threads i make saying im a welch and a scumbag just cause i dont have 5 bucks rn bc i need to help my family out.. he sends me the most hateful pm i have ever seen.. what is wrong with some people.. find it funny tht ppl get this mad over the internet

I am the type that is forgiving for stuff like this and really don't care. also, this is of all things just the internet. but betting can be a serious business whether it's for a lot of money or a friendly bet, online or not. if someone doesn't follow through it makes it seem as though they have excuses. the fact is you didn't follow through...and the type of person he is he talked sht the way he did. just think about it. it'd be best to set aside money for it or whatever before you commit to a bet like that or commit to anything for that matter...a man follows through with no excuses

btw i'm on your side. he's an ahole for what he said, also i'm sure you'd pay the other $5 when u have a chance. but even tho circumstances happen betting can piss people off. i know cuz i grew up around bookies and people that bet sht all the time. i've seen close friendships have been ruined over friendly bets, not even more than $20

ya you guys did it for a good cause. i'm only saying those things too because i was reminiscing about sht growing up and gave me perspective on bets and doing what you say you're gonna do. my friends who disagreed on something it ALWAYS turned into "i bet you $5, $10, $100 etc" and sometimes more, especially if it'd turn into a boxing match and who'd win. i think my friend stop being friends with another good buddy of his cuz he didn't pay him $10 or something because each guy thought they won and had an ego about it. betting can be fuked up sometimes. those friends i grew up with that did that were a bunch of *******s tho...still the same rules of doing what you say you're gonna do applies
