Controlled Labs PROnom23 Vanilla Cupcake Batter Review.

Taste-actually think it tastes just like vanilla cupcake batter , I can't recall the last time I've had a cupcake never mind the batter but imagine it tastes like that , a delicious taste you can taste it being exactly what it says and that's a good thing . (10/10) .

Mix -does mix fairly easily especially for a protein(one of the tougher mixes for supplements) , left clumps and drank some clumps as it started easy to mix it didn't say that way and took me a few minutes before I decided it's taking too long (much longer than my other proteins ) , wasn't a huge amount but still..(6/10..needs to not clump and some left at the bottom of the cup sorry that's not ok) .

Ingredients -now it says 23grams of protein per serving but then says 6 Whey Protein Complex29grams .
The Whey Protein Complex says it consists of
-Whey Protein Concentrate
-Whey Protein Isolate
-Whey Protein Hydrolysate
-Micellar Casein
-Milk Protein Isolate
-Calcium Caseinate

All that along with -
-Iron 500mcgs
- 0 fiber
-2grams of sugar
-Vitamin C 1mg
-Calcium 100mgs
-Sodium 115mgs
-Calories 140 / Calories from Fat 35
-Total Fat 4g / Saturated fat 1.5grams / Trans Fat 0
-Cholesterol 55 mgs
-Total Carbohydrates 4gs / dietary fiber 0 / sugars 2gs.

So protein 23grams but it says later 29grams of protein complex . If that means 52 grams then awesome lol if it means less than 30gs of protein per serving I feel it's lacking otherwise it's good .

Ingredients -(8/10 , mostly good but some confusion on the packet on something smile like protein and to me a little low on protein per serving takes some points off but otherwise good ingredients ) .

How'd it work ? Can't rate it overall as it was a sample but I didn't need my own protein, didn't feel bloated or urinate a lot which some people (probably newer to protein shakes ) have complained about but for me I didn't expect any of that just figured I'd add it incase anyone does worry about that . It's protein , I felt good threw my workout and did what I expect from my protein shakes , provide me with protein . (10/10) .

Overall I give this an 8 (8/10)as mixing wasn't what you'd expect and has clumping and the ingredients while good lacked a better description of the protein vs 6 protein complex .

I would still recommend this product and flavor it's not a bad product by any means just could of been better mix and clearer for ingredients .
