Oh hey, boag...
Be careful with that De Garde. Some of those bottles were massive gushers...
try to give it a day or two in the fridge if possible. Otherwise, open it near a sink
Nice lineup. I liked that DayGlow a lot, and I usually don't like Elysian beers.
LMK how maine stuff is. never had anything from them..
lol.
1) other beers 2) from a different brewery 3) that isnt OB
they just did a collab with fremont though, so that might be decentCommon Sense Crew

lol, ive just never had anything good from them. IMO, 10fidy tasted like I changed my oil in my car, but instead of draining it into the pan, I just sat under the flow with my mouth open and sporadically mixed in shots of gin.
seriously drain poured.
I'm open to the idea that I may have gotten a bad one, or never had anything good from them since I've only tried 2 or 3 of their beers. But I'm not willing to pay money to find out if they have anything better
I think they had some IIPA in a maroon colored can, like... "gubna" or something? That wasn't terrible. I'd put it a notch or two below OTWOA. drinkable in a pinch...

What's everybody gettin into for the 3-day weekend?
Brought that HF Genealogy down to Wingman last night, but apparently my timing sucks and they were closing up... so I just left it there, fig I'll prob go back and drink it tonight w the homey.
Tomorrow De Garde/E9 are releasing their IIPA "Voltron" at the E9 tap room (walking dist. from my house). So I'm sure I'll go grab some of that and whatever other goodness is on.
Headed to Eastern WA for Sun/Mon to visit gf's fam. Last time we went there, I went on a huge mountain hike... chit was gorgeous. I'll prob bring that Bruery Melange 9 and drink dat chit w the bae, on the top of a mountain like a boss
Also, Hopunion and Bale Breaker while we're over there... prob Monday morning though cause Sunday hours suck 'round hereCommon Sense Crew

I had my first 10$ beer last night.
http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/180/1421/
Delirium Nocturnum
8.5% alcohol
94 Rating
My rating
7.6/10. Had a nice buzz when I got done with it. Groggy when I woke up this morning. And that was the only thing I drank last night.
Other people try this one?
What will I pick up for my post workout friday evening? I am thinking a magic hat elderberry 12 pack.

Congrats flying dog...my first drainpour of, well since I can remember.
Smells and tastes like someone sprinkled a touch of old bay on their azzhole, then rain water down their crack and into my mouth. "6 months to develop this recipe." Looool. Did you taste it during those 6 months or were you just brainstorming?

lmfao told you brah!!! I don't understand how Flying Dog could taste their "finished" product and be like "Yep! This is exactly what we wanted!!!". How does the brewmaster live with him/herself? Seriously, they should be ashamed.
Thank ya Janks, will do.WE ARE.........

Lol. Maybe it's just you and me man. I'm reading the BA reviews now and people love it. I smelled old bay and farts, but mostly farts. Taste was a hair better, but nothing I wanted to finish. I'm clueless as well.
As soon as I can, I'm negging whoever it was on the last page that said it was good.

Mirin drinking on top of a mountain. Take pics, no homo.
Tomorrow is going to be a real rager. 8:40 tee time so that my friends wife can get him out of the house to set up for his surprise 30th party at 3:00. That means drinking at 8:45. Party is at his Dad's house and his Dad parties harder than we do. Kegs of the good stuff (bud light) I'm sure.
Sunday, going fly fishing if I have a pulse. Monday, don't even know yet.
