    Pre Pool Party Diet

Any tips and tricks to appear leaner at a pool party? I do not want to go through the hassle of all that encompasses a pre-contest diet. Also that would be unsafe as I will be drinking and dehydration and drinking do not mix.

However, I'm wondering if there are some things I can do maybe 3-4 days out from the pool party that will help me to appear leaner. Or anything I can do the day of the pool party. Whether it involves sodium, potassium, carbs, water intake. Any tips would be appreciated. A couple specific questions I have are:

Since I will have a normal amount of water in my system should I avoid carb meals?

Also specifically the morning of the pool party any suggested ideas for breakfast?

Would simple sugars before the pool party make me more vascular, or more bloated?

I mean you could try and avoid the sodium intake and take a diuretic but I don't think I'd want to limit myself in regards to my diet too much just for an occasion such as this, I mean parties are supposed to be fun right?

    Very true,

However what I eat is really not a big deal too me as I will be drinking and having fun anyways. Also I will only have breakfast/brunch at 11 before the pool party because the party is at 12-1ish. I was just thinking like pre-contest maybe there was some small things I can do. I know bodybuilders eat a stack of pancakes to make their muscles look fuller, but then again they are completely dehydrated at that point so it makes sense.

an old roommate in college was pretty big and he'd always try and show off by buying tight shirts and doing pushups and biceps curls before leaving the house for a party.

if you've been cutting for 8 weeks then enjoy yourself. i would recommend a medium sized meal with a decent amount of starch. enough to keep you from getting drunk too fast but not so much that you can't get buzzed. then again i haven't gotten drunk since college, so maybe i'm not the best person to ask.

rule of thumb: eat food that won't give you the ****s or make your breath smell bad

Just don't over eat and you should be fine. By this point in your career you probably know what foods make bloat.
