My problem with it is kids go through stages. I've known SEVERAL kids who around the age of 4-6 decided they 'wanted to be a girl' and would put on girl clothes/pantyhose, play with dolls, etc.
In every case their parent just told them you are a boy and you cannot become a girl. They didn't start bringing them to therapists and teach them it was OK and support all that sh!t.
20 years later and they are all normal straight males with no attraction to other males. They were just 'curious' at a young age. They had no idea what sexual attraction or gender identification was. It was just curiosity.
Granted. I do know a kid who was 'fruity' as hell his entire life. He always had feminine qualities and his parents/relatives simply couldn't 'toughen him up' by interesting him in 'male' activities (Sports, working out, hunting, etc.). Fast forward over 20 years and he's still fruity as hell. Never quiet came out the closet yet but he also never tried any of that gender reassignment stuff. He just acted fruity. Your stereotypical 'gay' guy except he claimed to have girlfriends, etc.
Which is funny because everyone thought he'd turn out gay and didn't care when he claimed he had girlfriends.
LMAO. I always wanted to be/thought I was a cowboy. I wore a toy six shooter cap gun every single day and would drink my 'Rye' whiskey (cool aid) and would roll a smoke (put a pretzel stick in my mouth).
