    Losing Strength During Sets?

Does this happen to any of you? Example: I do 10 reps on Bench. Rest 1-2 minutes. Then do the same weight but then I can only do 8-9 reps. Rest. Then I can only do 6-7 reps. etc.

It's not a common occurrence, but every so often it happens and it really pisses me off.

What gives? Does that mean the weight I'm using is too heavy, or am I not resting long enough?

Eventually you're going to burnout so yes, that's normal lol.

So how do I prevent this? Because I don't want to start out doing 12 reps and end up at 4 reps lol. But then again, if this is not happening, does this mean I'm not training hard enough?

There's nothing that can prevent this, your taxing your CNS. Do exercises like squats, deadlifts, BP, and OHP before other exercises is the best thing you can do (after a proper warm up of course).

Going from 12 to 4 reps is a big difference, either you're overtraining or not resting long enough, but not being able to do a rep or 2 on your next set is normal.

Yeah it's usually happens during isolation exercises, after doing several compund exercises. Thanks for the advice.

It's normal, especially if you go to/near to failure each set.

that's normal, you are going to failure=fatigue... it takes much more time to gain your initial strength back. if you don't force enough your body won't respond (=no muscle is going to be built)
