I haven't worked my legs out for the past 5 weeks due to a hip flexor strain. I've rolled and stretched out every day since the injury and I am at the point where I can squat almost 100% pain free.
When I do medially rotate my hip (rotate it towards my inner groin) I do feel a bit of tension still, but its like this on both legs (only injured right leg). How do I know when I'm okay to squat again? I injured myself going on my PR of 300 pounds x 3. How should I work my way back up? What weight schedule? Start out with just the bar and progress as I feel comfortable?
I really need your advice guys. I will value any input and past experiences. Many thanks
