    You used your thighs as support to help pull up the weight.. it would definitely be red lighted in any meet.. you can slide it up your thighs but you cant use ur thighs to help lift the weight..

    Ones that I use to directly benefit my deadlift have been:

    Powershrugs (dont use straps, chalk only)
    Squats below parallel
    Powercleans
    Box squats

    Your hitch is powerful as fuark lol. Too bad it means your glutes and hip drive is prob crappy. Try doing some sumos to warm up, don't hitch just think of chest coming up and hips driving up into the bar rather than thighs. Sumos will put you right into hip drive mode and you will feel DOMS in your glutes, hammies, and quads better.

    Not great, very evident hitch.
    However, it looked easy and i'm pretty sure if you worked on your form a bit you could get 500 with good form.
