I'd guess I'm just more inclined to keep volume and frequency and drop weight if something has to go. Though ideally you can hold on to everything for a while. I'm doing better on this cut. Bout 5 weeks in and actually still hitting 531 numbers so going well. See how long that stays for

You should be able to keep progressing on 531 despite cutting, I think it's designed so the gains are almost guaranteed

I still go between 4-6 reps on my "power" days, but after my back injury I don't give any fuks about the number on the bar. Training solely for aesthetics and to not injure myself again.

Opinions on Wheat Bread when cutting? I'm talking 2 slices of toast a day to break up the monotony of "Endless piles of eggs, beef, chicken, tuna"

Last summer I had fairly low carbs/basically did not eat bread/pasta/wheat for a chunk of 4~ months.

I have like 4 slices with peanut butter every day. There's like 4-5g protein in each slice with only 100 cals. Pretty cut friendly, IMO.
