Standing Bent over barbell row, t-bar row, or bent over single arm dumbell row.. Which is better, should I do more than 1 on back day? Some opinions please!

    Thanks

Any good back routine should hit your back from multiple angles: upward pull, horizontal and downward pull.
    Examples of each would be:
    Upward: Shrug
    Horizontal: Standard row
    Downward: Pulldown/chins etc.

Doing only one row variant on back day is leaving a lot on the table.
    On the road to 1250

Train consistently, move iron with purpose, eat well, sleep well and achieve.

In my opinion deadlifts, pullups, barbell row and cable row is a perfect back day.

    None of them are 'better'.

If there's one thing I'm confident in in regards to bodybuilding, its that your back doesn't give a flying f#$% which exercises you choose as long as they're BACK exercises, you perform them correctly, and you have a variety of angles in your routine.

Your back development is primarily determined by how strictly you performed the movement, from a MMC standpoint.

My back grew when I understood the functional anatomy of it, no sooner. Understand the functional movements of the scapulae in detail and visualize that while you lift.

    Beyond that, you should ensure:
    1) You don't do too little or too much volume and frequency.
    2) You ALWAYS lift intensely
    3) You are hitting every angle of the back.

You cannot do #3 until you understand the functional anatomy of the back first. The reason is is you can do back movements, like lat pulldown for example, in completely different ways. I can consciously choose to hit my lats with the pulldown. OR I could choose to hit my rear delts and lower traps. Or, I could be like most people and use my chest and biceps to heave it down. KNOW how to control this yourself in order to get proper balance.

Barbell rows are the best of that group and you should do at least 2 of them each back day along with deadlifts and at least 1 pulling movement

i think they're all great exercises and you should use them all - if you seem to have plateaud on one of them you can focus on another and rotate, etc
