I believe the pants situation is exactly as it says, and I also believe Royler has gotten it put into the contract that Eddie isn't allowed to decide to switch to shorts at the last second, he now MUST wear the pants. Royler brought a lawyer in to assure this.
The seriousness of it is douchey but I do think it's almost impossible not to grab gi pants while rolling, it's annoying as phuck when guys wear them no-gi and then get mad at you for grabbing them. Logically, it should be no different than not grabbing the shorts, but for some reason I can't keep my hands from grabbing onto gi pants. I don't think anyone right now realizes what a big deal it was for Bravo to beat Royler back then. Royler was the Gracie Golden Child at the time and Bravo was basically an upstart. I want a repeat just to see the excuses the Gracies will make. Never liked them

I will be watching but this one but I think a lot of the matches are not as intriguing as matches in the past. Really, the only match that I have trouble seeing a clear favourite in, is the main event.
The rest of them, are easy picks to choose the favourite where as in the past a lot of the cards were not this clear.
I wish they had different opponents for the Mendes Bros and higher caliber. Keenan's match sounds intriguing but I watched Vinny show up to ADCC and he looked terrible. If he shows up looking good, that could be a potential good match, but if he looks like he did at ADCC, he will get smashed.

- Lister. Lister is competing with the top level guys at ADCC while Sobral gets silver and bronze's at Masters Black belt divisions at worlds/pans, etc...
Gui Mendes vs. Samir Chantre
- Gui has won more at the highest levels, maybe not at the last worlds so this one could be a potential upset but I doubt it.
