Been doing a bit of research and seems
To be like a glorified keto diet. Although some authors and follows of paleo arnt as disciplined as others and do allow for the odd bowl of porridge and allow dairy products.
Question is will it totally ruin the idea of paleo with the convenience of porridge in the morning before work and milk/tea/coffee.
Can I be paleo with a cow with a tea crop?

If you're gonna be a paleotard, the first thing you need to invest in is a "Bad-Ass" sweat band, like Richard Simmons used to wear. Then you will want to invest in a large TV so you can watch all of his tapes. I'd also recommend picking up a couple Billy Blanks Tae Bo work out tapes. Later down the line you can invest in some junk like free weights and power racks, but just beginning you need to get your body in "Bad-Ass" shape. Once you've done all this you can use the "Bad-Ass" search feature to get feedback on where to buy your equipment.
No brain, no gain.

The only iteration of 'Paleo' I kinda like is the Weston A. Price Foundation theory, which is less about a fad diet and more about incorporating foods that most of us don't eat but are part of traditional diets. But the 'eat more liver and organ meats diet' ain't selling books.
And there are Paleo people out there who really seem focused on health, but not body comp.
There are also Paleo people who are coming around on the whole low carb thing. http://balancedbites.com/2011/08/paleo-diet-carbs.html And who don't arbitrarily exclude potatoes! And there are even some who are fine with stuff like rice and sprouted, fermented bread.
But until they let in cheese and stop putting random f*cktons of coconut oil on everything for no reason, I'm not hopping on that bandwagon.
I will say, though, that reading good "Paleo" articles helped me overcome my fatphobia and start eating way more fatty fish and real butter instead of fake vegan hydrogenated glop."The right to be heard does not automatically include the right to be taken seriously."

Not actually true. Different fruits have different amounts of fructose in them.
http://www.livestrong.com/article/34...n-ripe-fruits/
Also, contrary to what some believe, fructose actually doesn't cause as much of an insulin response as other sugars. Why? Because, as you likely know (it's likely why you fear fructose) it's metabolized in the liver, not the blood. That's why diabetics are told to use agave for sweetening; it's mostly fructose.
See reference:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9881888
All this still doesn't mean you should eat excessive fructose, just that even if you eat fruit you really may not be getting as much as you think. HFCS would be the thing to avoid, not fruit. Fruit sugar isn't even necessarily fructose and the part that is? Well, your liver does need glycogen anyway.Last edited by shesprints; 03-23-2014 at 11:50 AM.

yes i know all about fruit and fructose. hence why i said excess fructose which is quite easy to do if your drinking two bottles of soda a day. and yes various fruits have different levels of fructose, which is the reason i cut back on my apple consumption from daily to 3x a week. and because fructose is metabolized and stored in the liver it is a lot easier for it to be converted/excess calories be stored as adipose tissue. this is one theory why country's are getting fatter, because of the excess fructose in the processed foods that are more readily consumed. and i wouldn't say i fear fructose but i am mindful of it.

Ofcourse
Let's not forget ...on the contrary if you were cutting from 2000 to let's say 1700 and you did not recieve sufficient macronutrients (fat and protein) aswell as micros (eating chit food low in
Micros) you may not see the results from someone who properly composed a rational diet and achieved sufficient macro and micro intake"Learn from Yesterday, Live for Today, Hope for Tomorrow"
