posted these way back. all the top was done by carlos rojas. virgin mary was done by robert pho. Been 1 1/2 year and still havent decided how to connect the whole piece. Might add filigre, carlos torres style, in between and even tattoo ontop of angel. Plus i will go back to carlos to add more depth and darkeen some parts to make it pop, it looks too flat at the moment. Gonna redo the background by the bird, mabe raincouds or scenery like concrete streets from italy. For the virgin , im going to add heavier shadows under her eyelashes and make the veil look like material. Takes a lot of time, but i want it ti look like some real good art, u know. My advice, dont rush, unless u have the money and are 100% sure what u want, down to being picky with details.

I've tried most helaing methods previously with mixed results. Recently Ive been using numb skulled aftercare soap and redemption to heal my last two pieces and had amazing results compared to previous tattoo's. Going off the advice i was given from the owner of numb skulled who has an amazing collection of colour realism pieces from around the world, and a few other australian collectors, they advised washing 3-4 times a day with the aftercare soap and applying redemption then re-wrapping for the first 3 days. Then repeat the process until healed without re wrapping after the 3rd day. And i gotta say my last two pieces have healed amazing.

yeah just for the first 3 days. I only could manage to wrap it 3 times a day. After my morning shower before work, After work at 4.30 then just before bed at 10ish... That's how i healed the lion i posted a few pages back. No heavy pealing, no drop in colour. It completely goes against anything i have ever done previously and i was super skeptical to try it.

Im trying to get a tatoo that is unique and not been done(well not over used and has relevance to me) i was thinking about having something to pay homage to my heritage which is Libyan/Polish. But its really hard to find any ideas of north African or Libyan design and patterns that would be compatible. Most of the tattoos were made for women back in the day (from research) any 1 no a place i could check for some inspiration.

tanning will absolutely not help your stretch marks.
as for tanning/being in the sun in general... If I am going to be in the sun for more than an hour straight, I am getting lubed up with sun screen. During this past summer, the GF and I would go paddle boarding every weekend. We would be out for typically around 5 hours at a time. my sunscreen was 80-90 minutes of use. I would set my watch to go off at 80 minutes and repeat the application (strapped a mini cooler to my board so kept sunscreen in there). and just as a side note, even you young brahs, wear a daily moisturizer that has at spf in it. It's good for you to start young, good for your skin and aging (not only moisturizing but protecting from the sun).

Yeah i used Bepanthen one my first tattoo i ever got years ago and it does the job, but just left the tattoo greasy for hours so i wasnt a fan of it. I used a few different tattoo healing creams on my leg sleeve with various results. I used Dr. Pickles on my Carlos Rojas piece and the healing was average, and i've been using the numb skulled and redemption method for all my lower arm so far and loving it.
Like i said, thats just my experience. Everyone is different and different things work for different people. Someone was talking previously where they use Tangaderm? Dont know if i pronounced that right, and they cover it for a few days with that and had good results. So who knows lol

nah im with ya mate, bit like weight training, everyone thinks they have the recipe, but when its boils down to it, totally subject and also very specific. Lots of different factors to weigh up, colour v black and grey, size, location, skin condition, allergies etc.
Bepanthen for me is great as I have allergies, eczema plus get real itchy and lots of plasma, I found A and D, which is what Jun recommended left my skin dry, flaky and real itchy. As soon as I got back to OZ immediately switched and it was a lot better..
each to their own though brah.

had 1st consultation for laser removal of my tribal shoulder pieces. $650 every session for one and $450 for the other. said they will do $1000 each session if i do them at the same time. only need 1 or 2 sessions since all i really want is to break up the ink in order to have my artist cover them with half sleeves that stop at the elbow. seems pricey so decided to get a 2nd opinion later in the week. here are what each look like
