I agree on the realism part if we're talking about wolf tattoos. Traditional/neo-traditional just look so much cooler. I also think neo-trad deer look sick as hell (and not that hard to do), but I don't think it would fit me as well as a wolf. Checking out the instagram now, looks sick so far.
Yeah man, it's the best neo-traditional wolf I could find in over weeks of looking. The only problem is finding an artist in my area (Buffalo NY) who can do something similiar without copying the work. I could wait til I get back to the city for a wider selection of artists but I'm just impatient.
Repped all three of you btw.
On another note, what do you guys (anyone in the thread) think about this artist? I think she has the best looking portfolio in my area to do a neo-traditional wolf on my chest: http://instagram.com/noelle_lamonica
Once again, will rep for any comments.Last edited by Tongest; 09-25-2014 at 09:28 PM.

Here's what my artist sent me. It's obviously not going to look exactly like that, but similar, and he's still working on it. He's gonna add in a moon, cherry blossoms, and a lotus.
The important thing is the mountain, waterfall, and tiger because it represents something personal to me.
Here's my artist's instagram

Her work looks clean, and she has done a few neo-trad pieces but dunno if she would pull off a good wolf. She has a simple line work wolf about 3 months back and it looks ok, but i dunno man. I would prob wait till you have a wider selection of artist as you mentioned rather than end up with a piece your not happy with.

Thanks my dude!! Glad you like it, I absolutely love it myself.
She was so friggen awesome and painless to deal with, 10/10 in every regard... a true professional.
Looking forward to the re-line work and bolding/touch up to see how she looks when totally done.
Also gonna close up the wrist as I like the "solid" look better than how it sits right now.
