Totally agree with you man, not really for me personally. He's done Walter White, Daenerys Targaryen and a few Ironman pieces recently too.
He often posts on ********/IG "I really fancy doing this, any takers?" and people are just dead keen on getting a piece from him.
I don't even know who the blue guy is haha

In a few months I plan to get my second piece done
Thinking of placing it on my left calf
How painful is the calf area in terms of your personal experiences?
My current piece was a 2/10 or 3/10 at most

Story behind the Huma bird of Persian mythology
The Bird Of The Paradise: Huma
The Huma bird is a legendary mythical creature from the Sufi fables. It is said to never land and live its entire life during flight. It flies invisibly high above the earth, impossible to spot through the human eyes. Also referred to as the bird of fortune, the Huma bird is a compassionate creature and symbolises happiness. According to the Sufi lore, once you catch a glimpse of Huma or its shadow even, happiness will ensue for the rest of your life. The prominent Sufi preacher Inayat Khan portrays the spiritual dimension of this bird. According to him, it represents the evolution of a thought to the zenith where it breaks all limitations. “Huma” in Persian language stands for fabulous bird. It was believed in the olden times that if this legendary creature sat on the head of an individual, then it was an omen to the person becoming a king. In the word Huma, “hu” represents spirit and the word “mah” is Arabic which represents “water”. In the olden traditions, it was believed that the Zoroaster was born of the Huma tree which speaks for the bible verse “Except a man be born of Water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God.”
Simurg (alternatively spelled as simurgh, simorgh, simoorgh, simourv and senvurv) is an ancient Persian mythological bird. This immortal, gigantic, female winged creature is usually described as having a scale-covered body, with a dog's head and foreparts, lion's claws and peacock's wings and tails. It is also depicted sometimes with a human face.
The Simurg was considered a benevolent guardian figure with protective and healing powers. It was believed to purify the waters and the land and bestow fertility. It was also seen as a messenger or mediator between the Sky and the Earth, and symbolic of their union. The Simurg is mentioned quite frequently in classical as well as modern Persian literature, used specifically in Sufi mysticism as a metaphor for God.
The mystical bird appears in several old tales of creation. According to Persian legends, the Simurg was very old, so much so that it had witnessed the world's destruction thrice.

I need some opinions on something guys.
My left arm is a BnG sleeve in progress.
Right leg will be a surrealistic/fantasy colour realism sleeve (starting with Piotr Dedel, then I'll try to contact Tofi, Kamil Mocet and AD Pancho)
Originally, I was planning to go colour realism on my right arm, but now I'm seriously considering doing neo-trad and moving my original idea for my right sleeve to my back.
Question: will this be too messy? BnG left arm, neo traditional right arm, colour realism back pieceThe opposite of courage in our society is not cowardice, it is conformity. -Rollo May

Both work at Nemesis Tattoo in England
And Johan Finne who I mentioned a couple of pages back? Doesn't appear to have IG account, based in Sweden.

This guy might float your boat too, came across him the other day. No idea what his real name is but I love his style, looks really quite unique to me, doesn't seem well known either.

Couple of days now till I sit back in the chair.. have a day booked in for the 24th. Fuark not looking forward to the pain. Honestly hate getting tattooed lol
So far I have the chatsworth lion and a roman statue of a god representing oceans/rivers. Anyone got any decent ideas? I'd like to keep it as nautical/sea/statue themed as possible. Here is mine so far. I have a spot on the wrist that needs to be filled, no idea what to put there. I played around with a permanent marker to get some ideas. Might just go for something small but need something cool to put there. Obviously where its black is the marker but yeah.
I was thinking of a time piece + statue so far or just statue + something else. Here are a few favourites. Statue fans, please show me your favourites. Either inner bicep or outter, depending on size of piece. Even small things like coins, etc. Have half arm free.

GreyBrah, where are you at in Scotland? I'm considering trying to get into the grad program in Glasgow in the spring of 2016, or possibly on a research team... You have any thoughts on that, from a general standpoint?
I ask now, because I stumbled on RockNRoll tattoo and thought the work there looks really good.
Edit: Also relevant: I noticed Piotr Cwiek is visiting there in the future. What do you guys think of him? His black and teal pieces are really cool, but something about having only two colors makes me feel like I might regret it some time later.

Any tips and advice for a brah new to the ink game?
I have a tattoo and it's a simple one so I didn't really have to specify what I wanted cause it was easy to do. It's a simple tattoo
However, I'd like to get an intricate sleeve. I have an idea of what I want (theme, meaning, and images) and the tattoo style (photo realism/realistic).
What I don't know is how to put it all together and make it look streamlined and amazing.
I know these photos have been posted before, but Niki Norberg is the man and I want a 3/4 sleeve done by him (this will be very hard to get)
http://twistedsifter.files.wordpress...norberg-17.jpg
and my favorite tattoo below. I don't want an eye in my armpit, but I want a tattoo as well done as this with everything put together and colors mixing well.

When going to the tattoo parlor and talking to the artist, what's generally the process to get a tattoo like the above? Do I tell the tattoo artist what I want (theme, images and style) and let him freehand draw from there and choose from one of the designs?
I did my research and there's an American Tattoo Artist who is equally well known when it comes to a tattoo of level this anestheticLast edited by BeastMode101; 12-17-2014 at 09:48 PM.

I live in the Highlands, in the North of Scotland. I go to Glasgow fairly often though, I've got friends there and my girlfriend used to study at the University of Glasgow. It's a great city, lots of things to see and do and a great night out. I'd love to move down there myself at some point. Just pepper your angus for Scottish weather brah.
I have a sleeve in progress with Bart at RnR and have a piece from Bartosz Panas who is a guest artist every so often.
Thanks man, thought it was odd that he didn't have one.
Could you let us know how you get one with it? Something I may look in to in the future if the artists are keen to use it. I've got nothing to add other than that
