Why green frames? Makes it so much harder to wear them with every day outfits.

Leaving for Hangout Fest in a little over three weeks and I need tank tops. I like rowdy gentlemen stuff but I don't want to pay $20 and I'd like to try it on first. Thinking Pac Sun and Urban Outfitters would have plenty of stuff and hopefully some clearance. Hasn't Target been mentioned for tanks before too?

I want one that I can switch the straps out easily for summer. I was thinking the Timex weekender, because I want to keep it relatively cheap. Anyone have suggestions or links to the timex with a strap set?

I have a weekender and love it. Will be getting a couple of nicer Tissot watches I've already picked out, but they are lower down on my list of things to buy.

I bought some straps from http://www.cheapestnatostraps.com/ and am very satisfied with the quality. They are much better made than the strap that came with the watch.

I don't own one so couldn't tell you if it's as loud, but I did read about them before going with the weekender. The easy reader date display is supposedly quite the pain to deal with from what I've read.

yes, it is kind of loud in dead silence and when listening for it, but otherwise i dont even notice. it's pretty much the same thing as the weekender right, just with a backlight? cheap watch, looks aesthetic and good with nato straps.. do it mane

also, can be had for $40 from target iirc, or amazon, with a decent nato strap

for 10 bucks do it, just expect some headaches. those cheap glasses send to have a slight 'prescription' and can affect your eyes. i don't know if i'm wording it correctly, pwo brain fog, but in my experience the knockoffs give me back heradaches like when looking at a comp screen too long, or going back and forth with glasses/no glasses

Had one and it was a goner withing 2 months. Movement died on me. It ticks so loud that I couldn´t keep it in the room when I tried to sleep.

^^^ sounds like you got a bad watch brah. Most everyone who owns a weekender likes it and has good things to say about them. Would imagine easy readers are probably the same.

Anyhow, I recommend the weekender as an inexpensive gift for dude's sister to buy him. Love mine, though I don't have anything nicer to compare it to. I imagine I'll still wear it a lot even after getting nicer watches.

I think you may be confusing the two watches. The Target/amazon model has a .5" face diameter, and the Nordstrom model has a 42mm(~1.5") diameter. I dont know why they would do that lol. I just like the simplicity, and bigger face of the Nordstrom design. I think the higher price may be due to the bigger face.
