New show "The 100"

Not sheriff repost, but I just saw the pilot for CW's new show "The 100", was wondering if any of u brahs saw it as well

kinda seems like a combination of Lord of the Flies, Lost, Hunger Games, Lockout, all rolled into one. So far so good, seems like an interesting plot and theres a few hbbs on it so I'm anxious for next weeks episode

yeah some of the visuals looked really cool, its not very sci fi-ish tho, atleast not what u would expect, theres a space station in orbit now, the only difference is in the show its 97 years from now and the earth was destroyed by nuclear war...everything else seems the same

it looks good, but god so many tv shows are so full of fail lately.

yeah i know, after watching some good ones the last few years, the bar has been set high so its easy to be disappointed but this seems like a cool concept

yeah i never watch CW so watching commercials for some of their shows made me cringe cus they seemed so terrible, but im willing to keep watching and see if this show becomes an exception

I gave up after two episodes when it was originally on but just watched the rest on Netflix, and it got surprisingly better.

Only thread I could find and I couldn't be bothered making a new one, only finished it last night on Netflix and was pleasantly surprised as when I first watched it when it aired I gave up after two episodes as it as pretty horrible. Think they jumped a gun a bit with the ending of the final episode but I'll see how it goes.

I can't envisage many people on the misc watching it but I'm always happy to discuss episodes, will subscribe to this thread.

Wonder where Jaha is. This is what I meant by scope, there's bound to be remnants of society scattered around, he'll probably find some crazy tribe soonor something

I'm jut glad Bellamy and co are out. He needs more screen time, probably the standout character last season

Last episode was decent though the writing off the Finn character has been really off this season.

I read somewhere the ratings for the show went up as well whcih is good news for a S3

Last episode was solid, the potential for storylines is huge on this show an the ratings are getting better every week so hopefully we get a few seasons out of it.

First 2/3 episodes aren't great but I think it has definitely picked up. The writing isn't as tight as it could be but in a show like this (sort of like Lost) as long as they keep the characters compelling it'll do well.

It has some familiar tropes which you'll see with most shows but I agree, there's some lazy writing in there. The show seems to be picking up more viewers every week though so hopefully thrust start devoting more times towards the writing

Ditto, I'm surprised by how much I'm enjoying it. We rarely get good post-apocalyptic shows on TV so I'll take whatever I can as I have a love/hate relationship with the The Walking Dead, I'm probably enjoying this show more.

I'm glad it's violent as well and doesn't hold back too much, makes it more genuine

The guy who plays Bellamy and the chick who plays Raven are decent. The chick who plays Clarke is alright but Finn is pretty bad. I don't think CW shows are synonymous with reat acting though so can;t say I'm surprised. Thing is the show is really entertaining and fun at the moment but I don't think it's too far off technically being a good show (directing/writing etc), it just needs better writing, they have some good characters and a great base in terms of potential storylines, they just need to utilise it right.

I warn you now it starts of pretty bad imo. As you can see from my first comment in this thread a while back I actually stopped watching it after two episodes but heard it got better, stuck with it and got addicted. Keep that in mind.
