My dad was awesome when i was a kid, literally a 10/10 dad and was always there for me. Now when he's getting older he gets more clingy...
I still love him, but now he wants to see more often i usually visit 2-3 times a year and it's boring we usually go fishing/lifting (yeah he lifts) but it's so damn awkward i literally have nothing to say to him.
Also when he comes he over he always wants to fix something or something is "broken" and he needs to stay for a couple of days...
Usual conversation
Dad: How is (***) doing?
Me: Good
Dad: That's nice to hear.
It even gets worse when he tries to bribe me lol, calls me and makes up a story on how now he has an extra ticket to some lame basketball game.
I feel terrible for lying to him and he now has to go alone, but i am 25 not a kid he can bribe lol.
Any brah's feel like being too old to hang out with your dad?

Hang out with him dude, he won't be around forever. My dad has alzheimerz now and can't remember a single conversation. Every single time I call he asks where I am and what I do and it's usually the same thing. Last time I called was a couple of weeks ago on his birthday. My kids had called him earlier the same day and I asked him how that went. He didn't even remember talking to them and probably didn't remember talking to me 5 minutes after hanging up the phone.
