Can't really expect kids/teens to have a realistic view when most of the other kids are overweight. The worrying fact is that it's similar results for parents, they simply do not realize their kids are overweight because they look "normal" compared to other kids and thus no steps are taken to reduce the weight.

Overweight/obese parents tend to raise overweight/obese kids and turns into a never ending cycle as more and more are becoming overweight.


Probably in a few generations there will be horror stories about this weird breed of skinny humans who would eat unprocessed food and raw vegetables without cheese n stuff on it!

i bumped into my gym buddy and his daughter the other night when i was heading to a cafe to do some reading. yesterday at the gym he said he wouldn't have minded joining me after his daughter left/wouldn't have minded watching me read.

I'm sure the town will have some stuff we can do there, gotta check but I'm not going to pay for cab rides there every day. Hopefully the rain is one of those 2 hour events daily. I can deal with that.

Okay, it's extremely rare I admit, but my friend wanted to meet hella early. I even managed not to be a b*tch (a feat for that freaking early in the morning), not leave them behind, didn't huff and puff, and was patient even if it took over two hours to go just 3 miles.


Anyway, so much talk for box pancakes with sliced bananas. Mix it up man. Add some blueberries or chocolate chips in to the batter. Or, hell, go the savory route and do like a CSB version of an eggs benedict sans ham and with pancakes.


What sayest thou on trekking poles oh wise one? To me, they just look like fancy hiking accessories from REI, but I see so many people using them. Are they useful at all? Only for going downhill? Do you use them?

I dropped a grand on a new guitar. Relatively cheap considering only like what, one percent of the wood in the world is actually usable to make a musical instrument?
Nonetheless it produces a marvelous sound. Fell in love immediately. Went the next day to inspect it closer and bought it.
It was hand made in Spain by the Manuel Rodriguez and sons shop. Solid cedar top, Indian rosewood sides and back, ebony fingerboard and gold plated tuners.

Smaller was probably the wrong word, shallower would be a better fit. So if the women become shallower and the men larger when the fat pad goes you could potentially encounter a problem.
Unless you already had that problem before you lost the weight

Lol. I always joke around that the guitar practically pays for itself once I Jon a mariachi band.
Funny thing is though even though there are a lot of poor musicians, there's always lots of work for mariachi.

My repertoire is very limited right now. I'm barely learning a few Spanish songs. So far only Italian.
I wanna learn a bit of flamenco which is pretty much mariachi plus classical mixed together

Did you see the pics on ********? They are big women. It was tough for them. I don't think the friend she brought along will be going on any more hikes. It was not a good experience for her. My friend on the other hand loved it. She's calling it her first big milestone. It was hard for her, especially the uphill sections, but she did great and felt invigorated when she finished. She's been texting me non-stop about how she wants to make it a goal to go every weekend now (without me). Her goal is to be able to do the 6-7 mile trail I had originally planned. She went shopping for some new hiking clothes, and she wants to get a little backpack like mine. It's cute actually.

She did also ask to let her know when she can come along some of my trips. Ummm... My hikes don't compare to CSB's alpine adventures, but they do require some stamina. The trails are much longer and more difficult than the one we did yesterday. She won't be ready for a long time, and I don't want be a babysitter at those outings.

Yea, I saw the ******** pics. Honestly, I am surprised they made it...must have been very difficult. That is great that one of them really took to it! At least she knows doing other trails with you would be in the far future...who knows, maybe you inspired her to begin a transformation!
