You will soon learn that lifting is good for coping. As life goes downhill the gym will be the place where you can take your mind off things and release some stress. It might even be the only aspect in life where you see improvement as you add weight to the bar each week.

nah I disagree. I have a pretty decent face and no where near got as much attention when I was 145lbs 6 foot as I do now at 175lbs 11%bf at 6 foot.

Now, every time Im on a night out, I get girls from all corners coming over and randomly touching my chest, biceps and abs and compliment my body. All I have to do is stand in the corner and do nothing. I noticed that girls stare a lot when I walk around in public with a slim fit shirt as well, which never happened 2 years ago. Also got a few whistles from girls too, which I don't think would happen if I didn't lift

I lift for myself but these are other reasons why I continue to stay motivated, because you in a way become superior to other guys who don't lift.
But then again, Im not exactly huge. I have 15.7 inch arms and everything is in proportion and girls tell me I shouldn't get any bigger

bet you are the sort of guy who never played sport. its always that kind who then does something easy like lift to get women...realises that women dont care and then stops jesus christ.

plenty of people in here lift for there sport (could be wrasslin, footbale, rugby or mma as in my case)

secondly the ones who just lift for the sake of pure play bodbuuilding the ones who are succesful has nothin to do with women for gods sake
