    Different types of Cardio?

    I have an interview and will be tested on the different types of cardio. Im not sure what is meant by this. Is it deciding when to use a treadmill versus a bike or elliptical? If that's the case I could sue advice on that please.

    Or is it something else? Thank you

    I don't mean to be rude but I will be;

    God help me! Are you being interviewed for a PT/gym instructor job and you can't think of various different kinds of cardio?

    LSD, Interval/Fartlek, HIIT etc don't ring a bell?
    You also can't think of the difference between using a bike and a treadmill???

    Go and stack shelves at a supermarket somewhere or become an insurance salesman..just don't go near people in gyms.

    You're a ***got.

    Anyways, OP yeah I'm sure that's what they're talking about. Like all the different types such as Cross-training, super circuit training, Fartlek training, interval training..etc. Running, cycling, elliptical and that sort of stuff. Good luck.

    While I wont be as harsh as PeteratCastle, I do think its concerning you are 'qualified' yet have to ask people this question.

    The are really two faces to this question. Type could mean what type of exercise method you apply (eg running, swimming, bike etc) or the modality such as steady state, interval training etc.

    I know, I'm also fed up with PTs not wanting to put any effort into things themselves and not thinking for themselves. the amount of PTs I see copying my workouts and exercises in the gyms and outside without knowing why I do things a certain way with certain clients.

    It's pathetic.

    I'm always willing to help struggling PTs but only after they have actually thought about stuff themselves.
    Lazy PTs are the curse of the industry.
