Thanks MT, my PR on Bench is 5x315 @ 198lbs. That was many moons ago (and two shoulder surgeries). I have some room for growth I think. If I can remain injury free and keep hitting it hard I'd really love to see three plates for at least a single.

It wasn't that bad. Sneezing sure does suck though!

I'm glad I'm not the only one around here constantly injured!

Switched things up this week since I'm going to try and get in the gym a little more. Military went well and I completed all my reps/sets as required by the program. I will be bumping the TM to 175 for the next cycle. Hit a few moderately heavy super sets and lowered the rep ranges since my joints are feeling well. Upper posterior tomorrow.

Thanks, yes the machines are great. Finding the right tool for the job is tough sometimes but these always hit the muscle hard. Very effective.

Good session. I guessed at the CGBP weight and barely got the last couple sets. Remainder was decently heavy and I really felt worked at the end of the session.

Thanks Gary, pretty sure I have that for a double or a triple. The guy watching me said 315 came up faster than 295. Super pumped that I'm back here again.

As I've gotten older I've changed my ROM on squats. The high bar ATG squat I feel is safer, easier on my knees and develops the leg more than the low bar powerlifting style squat. I've gotten 405 for a couple reps on low bar. Again, that was eons ago so it's in the "I used to be big" bag.

Military Press later today, I have some planning to do to see where I'm going with it. Probably 5/3/1-Ogus as usual and bumping the max.

Thanks guys, that 185 went up quicker than I expected. It was admittedly a little sloppy in the bottom (push) but the lockout was smooth and quick. No shaking and my base stayed solid.

Thanks Big E, I try to put in the effort daily. If I don't feel like I can give 100% then I take a day.

Pulled sans belt and it felt much better. People were egging me on to add weight but I wasn't comfortable. Will add 10lbs next session and try and make some progress before adding a belt again. Perhaps 3x365 is a good goal.

    Taking tomorrow off to rest.
