Deadlifts felt strong. Had at least 1 in the tank on that last set. I don't normally try to push myself to maximum effort early in training cycles, so I consider this to be a good sign of things to come. I substituted in all that back work instead of doing deficits and block pulls because my knee was feeling a little sharp pain.
