Winning could have more than one definition but lets assume winning is what you have assumed winning to be.
Judges do make highly subjective decisions and also mistakes. I am not saying Heath should not have won this year. The judges had Heath winning by TKO when really this went the full number of rounds and the real difference between the athletes was a narrow (no pun intendd) and not a wide (no pun inteneded) margin. For the judges to not see the need to compare Heath to the other contenders (Wo1f and Ka1) was not based on how good the athletes were one stage. In the history of he Olympia I can not think of a Mr Olympia winner who was beaten in almost every single pose by another athlete yet got perfect scores. It simply is not logical, some other forces were influencing the judges - we can only speculate about what that could have been.

Every single year, fans will cry foul over who should've beaten who, who should've been compared to who etc, etc. I'm not particularly phased who wins these days, but over the years, nothings changed in that regard. But when you really break it down, I think last year Phil was the clear winner, and it was for spots 2 and onwards. The reason I say this, is that the bottom line, is that Phil had the best complete combination of size, shape and condition. Was Kai good with size - absolutely. shape - this one gets debated, but certainly pleasing enough. But his condition was off. Dennis - condition was strong, as was size. But with a clear lat symmetry deficiency, long torso and fairly weak calves, his shape will no doubt suffer. Phil - good size. Shape - very good and well balanced. Conditioning - extremely good. I actually thought it was a pretty straightforward result myself to be honest, with very little conspiracy..

Ahh, I did have an extremely long layoff there young grasshopper, so only jumped back on the boards recently. The last time i was posting, Flex Wheeler was still competing. Which is basically the long way round of saying that I'm an old ba$tard.. You are correct tho, this debate is about as intriguing as taking a leak on an electric fence..

"3D effect" is just another word for thickness.
And yes, when you talk about "someone's shape", it refers to the contour of his body, his silhouette, the outline of his physique, which goes hand in hand with the aspect of proportions and structure.
For example, hands on hips MM of Ramy vs Phil.
Ramy has better shape because his width is dominant in relation to his waist and his quads flare much more, on the counter part, you can say that Phil is rounder.
Note that I specified "shape", I never said they looked better than Phil overall.

Listen up young grasshopper - Roro has made a post based on fact, his post is anatomically correct in terms of bodybuilding. From an analytical and technical perspective his post is well thought out and based on real life dimension and weights of the athletes - quite the oposite of the term 'loon'.
