So about 5 minutes after im finished working out ill make a shake with two scoops of my mass gainer with a bannana and vanilla yogurt added in with milk. Is this all i should need or should i be eating a sandwich to go along with it or something else any suggestions are much appreciated!

Do what's convenient and what suits your preference. Unless you trained in a fasted state, there's no requirement or real benefit to slugging down a shake (or anything else) immediately after a bout of weight training.
