    Peaking routine?

    I need a peaking routine. I have 7 weeks until the meet. Was thinking of doing some sheiko, but wanted to hear about some other options beforehand. Thanks.

    im on 531 currently. have been running that for about 5 cycles. and ran it for 7 last year. but i fail my squats early in that program. I love smolov, but for meet prep???

    Keep your current outline, but change the undulating/wave periodization of 5/3/1 to linear. Something like:

    Weeks out / work
    7 / moderate 5
    6 / hard 5
    5 / moderate 3
    4 / hard 3
    3 / moderate 2
    2 / hard 2
    1 / opener

    Or at least that's what I'd do.
