Yeah my dad has it. My kids called him to say happy birthday yesterda. And I called him last night. He didn't even remember my kids calling a few hours earlier. Never remembers where I am our what I do etc. Same conversation every time we talk practically.Originally Posted by djflex

In the IFBB section of this forum, there's a thread up and some guy on video said that Larry Scott had been suffering from Alzheimer's for the past two years and died yesterday, March 8th. Cannot confirm, as I don't have ******** and the wiki page says nothing. If so a real shame. If this is true, then he was seventy-four, I believe, at the time of his passage.

Sad news indeed. When I was a kid he was regularly in Ironman Magazine and the likes. Motivated me! I believe I read where he was the first pro to break the 20 inch barrier on bicep.

Ha ha! He just did what he loved to do. Impressive! He impacted me as a kid. I had dreams of arms just like that!
It's good to have dreams. This growing up and getting old is not for the faint of heart. You don't want to be misunderstood, but things like this really make you realize your own mortality. We don't know what awaits us. Makes you stop and think! He was certainly an inspiration!
